Avanti Hotel - Paphos

The pool bar staff were friendly, and my daughters adored the well-resourced children's club. Joining the themed dinner nights added variety to our meals.

Everything. The staff was really nice and helpful, the garden with the pool is simply beautiful, the bar was full of people partying until midnight at least.

Well, if one does not rent a car, he needs to take a taxi at night time to the town center. But alternatively one can just walk to the romantic harbour of paphos, where it is full of good fish restaurants and bars.

The breakfast selection was boring and repetitive, never changing. The indoor area was sweltering without proper air conditioning. The lack of cold drinking water throughout the premises was puzzling and frustrating. Paying extra for a safe felt unreasonable given the overall experience.

The hotel was room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. We had a room overlooking the pool, which I would recommend. The dining room was very good, as was the breakfast room, and the food was more than adequate in both. The staff were polite and attentive, although it was a bit annoying that when going to get the next part of your meal, ( It was a buffet style ) you would come back to find that your table had been completely cleared, even one night our half finished glasses of wine. The four young people who did the entertainment in the evenings were excellent. This was also a pleasant surprise in that entertainment was provided each night for the very young and also for the older people.

As mentioned above , the clearing of the tables before you had finished your meal. The mattresses we found very hard but not all that uncomfortable.

Avanti is a lovely place with well-kept grounds and a spacious freshwater pool, perfect for families. The staff are genuinely friendly and were pretty good too. Having a mini fridge in the room was handy, and the breakfast offered a delicious variety for every taste.

totally recommend

We stayed in paphos because my daughter had swimming competition near by, so we needed first of all for her to eat at a specific time and a specific meal, which I couldnt find. Something as simply as spaghetti I couldnt find for lunch. Also because the competition was at 430 everyday my daughter had to rest in the room all day and we found it very very hard on the sunday when we had to check out at noon, we asked for a late check out and of our curcumstances, but we couldnt get a late check out! Something as simple as the above made our stay a little bit not pleasant

Tweny minute walk to the harbour but the local bus service is excellent, one euro to the harbour or two euros to the airport, buses are generally every 30 minutes. Hotel staff couldnt do enough and must be the friendliest on the planet. Lots of good restaurants locally and plenty of bars. Nice sea front walk into the harbour/ pathos, huge pool, lots of sun beds available inc parasols, definately would stay again. Only possible down side is the local taxis which charge 8 euros to the harbour and 30 euros to the airport and pathos can be expensive including supermarkets eg cans of coke 2 euros, bread 2.50 euros etc Gin & tonic around 5 euros, beer 3.50 euros. Whole experience 8/10

Couldn't recommend more for a little getaway

Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, with a variety of options including fresh eggs cooked to order and delicious pastries.

Truly enjoyed my comfortable stay for 3 nights. The restaurant was nice for lunch, I tried wonderful dishes. It was new-fashioned, had amazing pool views. The location was marvellous - within short walking distance of everywhere I wanted to go.

We had a great time. The facilities are great. Whenever we wanted help the staff was there and they helped us with a smile.

Our room was clean as and the staff were dead friendly. Just wish the hotel had more aarngement for sun loungers, they were gone too quick.

first trip to Paphos and the hotel was very good overall. The hotel has excellent facilities and extensie program of entertainment during the day and evening. Staff were also excellent and the manager has a very visible presence in the hotel overseeing the operation. Location is also excellent for Paphos town and harbour area.

Not really anything of note to say. It is rated 4 star and I would agree it is a very solid 4 star.

Great family time! Free parking, indoor pool was perfect for kids, but gym was small.
